Commodore’s welcome

Dear Fellow Sailors,

May I first apologise for being a little late in putting pen to paper, finger to keyboard I believe is a more accurate description these days.  The AGM and laying up dinner at The Bull was well organised and well attended.  A hearty “thank you” to the organisers and to you, the members, for electing me to be your Commodore.

We are developing our programme for the sailing season, which will include a summer cruise abroad, and we will let you know when we have finalised it.  To participate in our local sails please contact our Crewing Officer, Michael Vine.

Our social programme will include training and visits to places we hope are of interest to you, not necessarily nautical, but something that will bring us together, and of course, food will be involved somewhere along the line.

Our gatherings at The Bull in Highgate will continue on the first Wednesday of each month.

For more information on our activities, etc, please visit the website at www.hssc.org.uk and follow us on Twitter.

May I wish you all a Happy Chanukah, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
